Leica iiig
The Leica IIIg, manufactured from 1957 to 1960, represented the final evolution of Leica's legendary screw-mount rangefinder series. This 35mm camera featured significant improvements over its predecessors, including the first built-in light meter in a Leica body, implemented as a selenium cell system. The IIIg incorporated an innovative bayonet mount for rapid lens changes while maintaining compatibility with screw-mount lenses via an adapter. With its improved viewfinder displaying 50mm and 90mm framelines, precise rangefinder focusing, and cloth focal plane shutter offering speeds from 1 second to 1/1000 second, the IIIg became the choice of discerning photographers worldwide. Its exceptional build quality and optical excellence made it a favorite among photojournalists and street photographers during the late 1950s.
